The appliance has a child lock and there's a simple procedure to prevent tampering with programme settings. Venting It is recommended that the dryer venting hose is connected to an outlet near the tumble dryer. If the hose cannot be permanently connected to a wall or window ventilation hole, it can be passed through a partially-opened window when the dryer is in use.
