With six cooking zones which can be linked together, the Miele KM6367-1 induction hob is designed to make cooking faster and, with its sleek black surface, it looks great in any kitchen. Flexibility The hob's flexibility means two cooking zones can be combined into one to accommodate larger pans and oven dishes. And the booster capability means that it can almost match the speed of an electric kettle. Wireless connectivity also means the hob can connect with the new generation of Miele cooker hoods which automatically match extraction levels to hob settings. Automatic warming Cooking zones are also equipped with an automatic warm-up function. This sets the zone to the highest setting for an initial period of time and then automatically switches back to the preset cooking temperature. So you can bring a pan of vegetables to the boil and then reduce the heat to a simmer without even having to be in the kitchen. Control settings Theres an LED display for each cooking zone with up to 9 power levels, a three-stage residual heat indicator and a built-in timer. The hob also has keep-warm and stop-and-go settings, so you can take a break from cooking whenever you need one. Plus, the hob has a child safety lock, fault indication and safety cut-out protection for extra peace of mind. Induction technology Ultra-efficient induction works by creating a magnetic field between the hob and steel or iron pan. The heat is instant; it is easily controlled and energy efficient as it heats the pan, not the hob surface. Thanks to the fact that the hob surrounding the pan stays relatively cool, if there is a spillage, the flat ceramic surface can be simply wiped clean, even during cooking.
