The Siemens EH601MV17E flexInduction cooktop is designed for greater flexibility when cooking with an extra-large cooking surface and a timer for all four zones. The induction hob works by creating a magnetic field between the hob and steel or iron pan. As such, the design offers flexible cooking without predefined cooking zones thanks to two innovative flexInduction cooking areas. The extra-large cooking surfaces allow for tailored cooking zones, whereby you can place your cookware wherever you want on the flexInduction cooking zone and set a timer for all four cooking zones. Better still, the flush-fitting cooktop has an automatic pan recognition which will adjust to the size of the pan you are using. The touchSlider controls 17 temperature settings to give you a variety of cooking options plus, the powerBoost-function offers shorter heating times altogether with up to 50% more power. And to avoid the risk of getting your fingers burnt, the hob features an automatic safety switch off when it is not in use. Note: Only use pans suitable for induction hobs. These include: enamelled steel, iron, stainless steel (depending on the alloy) and some aluminium pans with a ferromagnetic base. Glass and copper bases are unsuitable.
